"How do Platinum edition inserts work?"
Platinum /49 editions are randomly inserted free with Gold card orders. Odds are approximately 1 in 49 (Total gold cards ordered ÷ 49).
"Can I order multiple cards of the same player?"
Yes. Order as many copies as you like. Every additional card increases your chances of pulling the sought-after Platinum variant.
